Visit Kašperk Castle or the ruins of Rabí Castle, both castles are only a 25-minute drive from your Cabin. You certainly know Kašperk Castle from the fairy tale Angel of the Lord. Rabí Castle is the largest castle ruin in Bohemia, these two monuments are definitely worth your visit.

The Šumava National Park can be found approximately 30 minutes' drive from your cabin. You must not forget to visit the Otter River and take at least a short walk around it. The harsh landscape of Šumava will captivate you, its purity, but also its roughness, will leave you with strong feelings. A walk around the Vydra river and its surroundings is worth it.

Practically up the hill from your Cabin, you will find a beautiful water mill that you could see in the fairy tale Three Brothers. The site of the water mill is located in the village of Hoslovice. It consists of three buildings - a mill with a residential part, stables with a wheelhouse and a barn. It also includes a pond with a stream, orchards and meadows. You will also be impressed by the life story of the Harant family, the last millers.

The nature reserve is located in the Zlaty Potok valley, southeast of Kašperské Hory. The reason for the protection is the presence of important species, the biotopes of rocks, wetlands, tree groups and springs are scattered here. Its total area is 81 ha and it was announced in 1994.

There are two beautiful observation towers in the vicinity of your cabin. The lookout tower in Hoslovice is only a few kilometers from your Cabin. The second lookout tower can be found at Javorník in Šumava, which is about a 20-minute drive away. The view from the lookout tower is very nice after the repair and extension of the lookout tower in 2003. It allows a circular view of the border mountains and foothills.

If you visit us in summer, don't forget to visit Divoký Bistro. You really won't regret it, great cuisine in nature. If you are looking for something more traditional Czech, then right next to Rabí Castle is the very pleasant pub Vystřelené Vočko. Check the map for more restaurants to visit.

In the morning, you can buy fresh pastries and basic ingredients for the kitchen here. You can find the shop just a short distance from your cabin in the village of Soběšice, about a 10-minute drive away.

If you are a fan of golf, you must definitely try the golf course in Škudra. The beautiful technical golf course has only 9 holes, but it is set in the hills of Pošumaví.
